Hello goddesses and great women!
March is International Women’s Month; March 8 is International Women’s Day….
Many years ago, I had the pleasure and honor of participating in an amazing annual tradition of women gathering to celebrate International Women’s Day–and themselves–together. Every woman was asked to bring something to share–not only for the potluck, but also something inspiring or meaningful to themselves for the circle. Some read poems, some shared songs, others told of women who influenced then. All these years later, I still remember. It was my first experience of a circle celebrating women. Each year since, I do something to remember and honor International Women’s Day and the important difference each of us makes, as women, every day, and those we touch.
