Feed the soul … Read

“Reading…Where you can be Anything you Dream!” (Reach Out and Read® National Center)

Soul work reading is different than reading a novel…usually.  There ARE exceptions, as I’ll share later.  Soul work reading is a little at a time, maybe a few minutes each morning or evening, or on a lunch break.  It’s not about how fast one completes or gets through the book.  It’s about interjecting spirit-nourishing thoughts into our day.  It doesn’t have to be a lot.  Like vitamins, a little goes a long way.

Occasionally soul work reading IS found in novels.  A friend coined the term, Intention Fiction™ to describe the stories she’s been given to write.  For her, they come in dreams and messages, and she is compelled to write them … and watch them unfold.  What comes out is an engaging story–and deep wisdom.

Stories have long been used to teach and entertain.  As my author friend notes, stories are easier to slip by the guards of our over-protective ego,  and reach and engage a part of our selves, our soul, we are often unconscious of or have forgotten.  Stories take us into our dreams and imagination, and more.  She tells it so beautifully.

Feeding-the-soul reading is books and articles you are drawn to pick up.  Not sure why.  You only know that it beckons.  You buy it, and it may sit on the shelf for years untouched…  And then one day, it will draw your attention again…and be EXACTLY what you need…at that moment, that time in your life.

If one expands the concept of soul work to include life, love, and self-understanding, and living authentically and joyfully, then even some “fluff” novels and summer beach reads are food for the soul and spirit.  Fifty Shades of Gray?  I have another friend reading it now, and she’s liking it.  She’s drawn to the relationships and the parallels she’s seen in people she knows.  It is feeding her spirit in a way it needs to be fed now.

Go with what you are drawn to.    Follow the muse, your inner instincts. It may surprise you, that it will be perfect in ways you never imagined.

And one more thing:  Nobody said you had to limit yourself to one book.  Different times of the day, for example, different types of books might beckon.  You’re allowed more than one.

Feed your soul and spirit.  Read this summer!  Relax into it, and enjoy.  – Anne

Summer Soul Work

It’s that time again.  Reading, alone time, and reconnecting with ourselves.

And for some, conversations of substance, where we get to verbally explore the impact and implications of what we’re reading; exchanges of insight, perception, experiences; support through our evolving and finding our wings.   Bite into your life and the fullness of its possibility.

Be Full of Yourself -The Journey from Self-Criticism to Self-Celebration.   Welcome to my Series at the BEACH this summer, using that as our conversation starter.  It will evoke emotions and trigger evolving, awakening, and transitioning conversations.  Would anything less be worth your time, or mine?

I am open to additional times and venues, including phone-based ones–Because conversations of substance are refreshing and invigorating…and often hard to find.  And I have additional summer soul work resource recommendations too.

The soul’s work is to wake itself up… to remember…  (yes!  from some of those other soul work resources!)

It’s lonely on the leading edge of anything.  And it’s not just anyone we can talk to about these emotions, thoughts, feelings, life-shifting moments that change how we see the world.  Trust me.  I know….

I’ve left openness in my schedule this summer for spirit to move and work, to connect and support evolving hearts, minds, and souls.  So important to our wings and happiness and well-being.

We find ourselves and recharge in solitude and small circles, in intimate conversations, away from the noise.  We seek self-understanding, love, happiness, success…and wouldn’t it be nice if all that was easy and possible just being who we already are…

It’s the journey each of us is on…to find where we fit perfectly, and where it IS easy.

The soul work comes in because it’s something we have to do for ourselves; we can’t skip out or delegate it…  Our soul work and dance with the Divine is personalized and exactly what we need.

All cooperative components are being assembled.  (Abraham)

We ARE in the right place at the right time…

To those called to some soul work this summer, wherever you live, Love, Light, and Blessing in this time of self-discovery and growing our greatness.  We have amazing and exciting work to do together.   Anne  :)

Intro to the Sacred Feminine class Wednesday

Hello everyday goddesses – For many of you, the Sacred Feminine is already in your awareness.  Others are just opening to the concept.  For all interested in more, I am hosting an Introduction to the Sacred Feminine class here on Wednesday evening, May 9, at 6:30.

This is one of my favorite Love-Your-Life™ sessions because it opens and energizes so much of our spirit and self-esteem, and puts together the pieces of our wholeness.  It balances and completes us.  It empowers and inspires the best in us.  Imagery and words; traditions that honor the Sacred feminine…and where it’s hidden in plain sight; words of women on the spirit of women; the language and entity attributes of all that is feminine and divine.

I hope you’ll join me!  You can register here…or call to reserve your place.  And as Everyday Goddess Community members, be sure to use the drop-down and save 25 percent.  If you’re not a member yet, you can join here.  It’s only $5 a month for ongoing savings and privileges.

My only intention is to help you love your life and shine, from your place of goodness, joy, and brilliance…and to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible.

More about the class and the beginnings of it.

See you Wednesday night!

“Defining Moments” May 4

“Bite Into Your Life” Summer Series at the Beach

Sound heavenly, doesn’t?!  It does to me too.

So I said, Why not?  Follow your bliss!Brewers Two Pewaukee  And I am.

Monday mornings in Summer, starting June 18…in line with a new moon and a summer solstice.   New beginnings, energy flooding in.  My favorite beach-side coffee house to gather in, and then to the beach in front or creek side in back.  Details coming.

‘Bite into your life and the fullness of its possibility!” Let the words rest and play in your consciousness, and pay attention if that’s something you would LOVE to energetically explore and do this summer.

Additional Summer tele-circles?  Soul Sister Circles?  Open to possibilities…and excited thinking about it.  Empowering, invigorating stuff to my soul; hopefully to you too.

Our conversations will take us into interesting waters, foundations of beliefs about ourselves,  of our spirit and life–in a good way… and the journey from self-criticism to self-celebration.  Sneak peak?  It’ll be one of these two resources we’ll start with; I’m leaning toward the first…or both.  Let me know your thoughts too.

Be Full of Yourself  and or Becoming Real, both written by wise, beautiful, and inspiring everyday goddesses.

Here’s to summer sharing and biting into life … at the beach or anywhere you be.  Love your life!  It matters. – Anne

Aligning with your Beliefs

Hello everyday goddesses,

My friend Nancy Nicholas wrote a beautiful post this week called Aligning Your Beliefs with your Truth that I love and had to share.  Coincidentally, and yet fits in perfectly, this month’s featured love-your-life class of mine that touches the same thing is Simple Spirituality.

Synchronicities… love ‘em.  Sharing in case this is where you or someone you know is shifting now.

Synchronicities on return of the Divine Feminine

This morning I stumbled on a most wonderful Facebook page, The Return of the Divine Feminine.  The art, the expression, the feel…the wisdom and inspiration. From the page:   There is the Divine Feminine within All. Both men and women. In these times we must awaken this part of ourselves and recognize her timeless presence in transforming our world into harmony and Sacred Union.

The eBook I’m editing for a gifted author of a series called Putting Herself Together Again touches the same theme in the section I’m on now.  There have been interpretations and judgments made and passed on that are worthy of another look, and perhaps a whole other interpretation from the vantage point of now…and wholeness and healing and ‘putting ourselves together again.’

A Women’s Wellness Retreat Weekend next month.  I’m a speaker.  The topic: The soul of Women.  From my studies and in my experience, I offer the possibility that some (very mistaken) assumptions about the soul of women have been made.  In compiling the words and wisdom of women speaking for themselves about their spirit and needs and perspectives, She again came through.  The She voices and spirit; the fluid and healing and far-reaching depths and graces to be received.  So good.

eBook, Escaping despair, Putting herself together again

I’m pleased to share that I can now add ‘eBook editor and publisher’ to my accomplishments.  Volume I of a five-volume series is now available on Kindle (Amazon.com) and in many other digital formats  (Smashwords.com).  And I am truly excited about the book, the author, and the ‘work’ and blessing these books will be.

Putting Herself Together Again: Escaping her Dungeon of Despair is a good read, especially if your despair is about money, financial woes, a life falling apart.

Ruth Theobald Probst never intended to be an author.  The story came from a dream–and she was compelled to write it.  People have long been given messages, solutions to problems, divine guidance and insights through dreams.  And if these dreams stay with us and we are compelled to write them ….  Well, read the descriptions here and decide for yourself.

All I can tell you is that it has been, and is, a sincere privilege to be part of bringing these volumes to you and all who will continue to benefit from them.

Ruth calls her style of writing Intention Fiction, and you can learn more about her and her works-in-process at LifeMark Press.  There’s a free gift waiting for you there.  And do get yourself a copy of Putting Herself Together: Escaping her Dungeon of Despair.

I love Ruth, and her work, and her LifeMark tagline too:  “Your Life Leaves a Mark–Make it BRILLIANT!”

Talk about inspiration and a front-row seat to its manifestation and unfolding!

Have a beautiful day.  Enjoy and love your life! – Anne
